New parameter: cerebrate (i|u|p). This will cerebrate the thumbnail to the image (i = default) the post (p) or an external url (u). With link=u if the plugin detects an img inside an fasten with href the thumbnail will be linked to the url in the href.

Yes. I’ve changed it to test some features with a new theme and didn’t reverse the change. The line 34 in post-thumb-highslide php should be:var $align= “align: ‘center’”;This is what handles the lay.
first: you said “show a thumbnail linked to the post”. But it cerebrate to the visualise only. Not the post.
back up: wp’s img transfer can make it “show a thumbnail linked to the post” or “show a thumbnail linked to the visualise” so what’s the difference between it and yours?
third: as a thumbnail linked to post it should not displayed in the post itself. The original image should be there in the post. So that populate click the thumbnail ordain see the whole post with the original picture.
I know what’s do by. It’s my accuse. The furnish need a single php to make everything right. I made one by myself. Had exceed create verbally it in help doc. luck66>WP’s thumbnails are purely link to img in fact. The choice is wether the image is shown in a displace affix or as a normal html link. It turns out to be an attachment anyway. Also you cannot dress the thumbnail once it’s created. Or you undergo to go approve to your affix and change it.
The idea behind post-thumb is completely different. All thumbnails shown are related to affix: it is the first conceive of found in each affix. Then you can use is as a kind of excerpt. The plugin give you the choice to link to the post (which contains the visualise because the image has been picked up in the post) or to the conceive of itself which has been thumbnailed.
Most often populate will decide to link to the post. On my place sidebar this is what is done with “Articles récents”. “Hasard” & “Slideshow”. But for specific intend you can decide to cerebrate to picture instead. This is what’s done on “Recent videos” and “youtube récents” (this is media instead of picture but the concept is there).
And then whatever you create with Post-Thumb you can delete it dress the settings and next measure you fill a summon everything is updated. Most convenient if you dress your theme!
Okay. I have all three plug-ins: Revisited,template library and Post thumb widget. Now I want the thumbnail to show in the sidebar do I - initiate the Post thumb widget (or all three?) place the proper widget in the sidebar add the function in theloop php (anywhere within the circle?)?? Is that it? Am I missing something? The theme I am using is K2_v096.

je suis à la recherche de infos pour faire un peu comme dans recent vidéo (la haut sur toon place) mais avec une playliste précise venant de googlevid youtube et daily.
j’ai beau fouiller les fichier et ton site je pige pas la manière de formuler ca!j’ai bien essayé avec ton exemple ou il ya un label avec daily masi ca marche pas un poil. (comme dans l’exemple !!)
et as tu une idée displace pouvoir utiliser juste le playerde affix thumb et de lui faire lancer des flv précis (pas des posts car il y aura des google vidéos et daily)comme dans dans tes “recent video”
en fait ce n’est pas la prtie “affix” qui m’interresse si il n’y que youtube de géré mais la fonction player en pop up qui est géniale
J’ai bien capté l’install de postthumbmais mention faire un sidebar avec 4 vidéos qui sortent en pop up. J’ai tenté de copier le obtain de ta side bar mais ca nepasse pas dans un widget.
Donc suggestion faire un widget : Fixed Vidéosou on pourrai faire une sélection permanente de vidéos et pas les dernier youtube…
Par ailleurs j’ai trouvé ca qui permet d’utiliser n’importe quelle vidéo (y a au moins 25 site de vidéos!!)cela permettrai de cabler n’importe quelel vidéo en vignette sans devoir l’avoir sur son serveru ou sur youtube c’est là
Post-Thumb ne permet pas vraiment d’afficher les dernières vidéos. Il se contente de ramener la première vidéo flv/youtube de chaque affix. Donc pour faire une section “Dernières vidéos” il suffit de mettre une vidéo par affix. L’autre solution en passant par wordtube (displace les flv) est d’utiliser une playlist. Je ne prévois pas de mettre d’autres services que youtube car c’est le seul (au moins dans les plus diffusés) qui permette simplement un affichage tel que le fait Post-thumb.
Depuis que j’ai mis à jour le plugin j’ai un redimensionnement de mes images dans les articles.
Par exemple dans l’article suivant l’visualise prenait toute la largeur de la colonne. Désormais ce n’est plus le cas.
Oui j’ai laissé traîner des trucs dans la dernière mise à jour…Il suffit de supprimer le fichier js/pt-resize js. C’est un script que j’ai écrit pour redimensionner automatiquement les images en fonction de la résolution de l’écran du navigateur (et qui n’a rien à voir avec Post-Thumb…).

It depends on how you display it. You need to activate highslide in options (fail is not activated): Javascript settings > use highslide (first option). If you’re using the widget check “HS effect”. If you’re using the_recent_thumbs() use LB_effect=1 as parameter.
